That’s far more than the average person spends on Valentine’s Day. The National Retail Federation projects the average person will spend just over 190 dollars on Valentine’s Day in 2023, up from about 175 dollars in 2022. In total, roughly $26 billion will be spent on Valentine’s Day. Candy, cards and flowers are the top gift categories. Those are solid options, but stocks will last much than chocolate.
